The cello, as an expressive solo instrument, is closest to the human voice - its warm, eloquent sound is a delight for the ears. With an arrangement of carefully selected melodies, the eight-member cello section of the Wiener Symphoniker lets its instruments sing, complementing the vocalise performed by young soprano Emma Kajander with its musical finesse.
