Visitor figures set new record at Bregenz Festival

275,000 people flock to 80th anniversary season

Bregenz, 23 Aug. 26. Since the final performance of La traviata was able to go ahead on the lake stage today, Sunday 23 August, the Bregenz Festival closes with a new visitor record: a total of 275,000 people attended events at the festival in its 80th anniversary season. Never before have so many people visited the Bregenz Festival since it was founded in 1946.
