Final Report of the 2023 Festival

Bregenz, 20.8.23. The Bregenz Festival opens for its 78th year on 17 July 2024 with Der Freischütz by Carl Maria von Weber as the opera on the lake stage. The director will be Philipp Stölzl. In the Festspielhaus the opera Tancredi by Gioachino Rossini premieres on 18 July.  

Tickets for events at the 2024 festival can be ordered once booking opens on 2 October 2023. For information please visit www.bregenzerfestspiele.com. The provisional attendance figures of 2023 were announced at a press conference last Friday. The final visitor and capacity figures will be available for download from 10 p.m. today (see below).
