Advance sales have started for 2020 – Final report for 2019

Bregenz, 18.8.19. Tickets for the 2020 Bregenz Festival went on sale this evening as the curtain went up on the final performance of this season. The festival is due to open for its 75th season on 22nd July 2020 with Arrigo Boitos Nero at the Festspielhaus. The opera will be directed by Olivier Tambosi. Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi will premiere on the lake stage on 23rd July.

After the provisional attendance figures for this year's festival were announced at a press conference last Friday, the definitive figures will be available for download from 10 p.m. today. You can download them here.
