General Accreditation Guidelines 2025 of the Bregenz Festival
The Bregenz Festival allocates tickets per reporting journalist and per medium (subject to availability):
- A maximum of two press tickets for the lakeside performance
- One press ticket for the opera in the Festspielhaus
- One press ticket for performances at the Theater am Kornmarkt
- A maximum of two press tickets for all other performances
The press ticket does not entitle the holder to film or take photographs during the performances.

Accreditation is possible for persons who can prove their journalistic activities as follows
(a.) By submitting bylined articles not more than six months old at the time of the event.
b.) By submitting a masthead naming the person as editor, contributor or author.
c.) By submitting a written assignment from a full-time newsroom for freelance journalists.
d.) Press spokespersons, press officers and public relations officers of cooperation partners or partner institutions may be issued press cards after individual assessment.
Accreditation Guidelines for Bloggers
Operators of an active blog with a professional, thematically relevant connection to the Bregenz Festival can be accredited if they can provide evidence of their editorial reporting as follows
a.) The blog must have existed for at least one year.
b.) The most recent post must be no older than three months.
c.) The blogger must also provide evidence of key metrics such as page impressions, unique visitors or time spent on site or similar with screenshots from the last six months. Tools such as Google Analytics should be used as evidence - a screenshot will serve as proof. The Bregenz Festival reserves the right to evaluate these figures in terms of their relevance to the Bregenz Festival.
Persons who are only privately active on social networks will not be accredited.
